Olia vs SafetyCulture

Olia vs SafetyCulture (now Mitti): which fits a restaurant

SafetyCulture rebranded as Mitti in August 2026. It is a broad platform used by many industries. Olia does one thing: daily operations for hospitality teams. Here is how they differ.

    Opening soon · from €79 · per location ·no per-user fees

    Where the two differ.

    Broad platform or hospitality only

Mitti serves teams across many industries. Olia is built only for restaurants, bars, cafes and hospitality groups, so the product is shaped around a venue shift.

    Pricing model

Mitti lists a free plan for up to 10 users and a Premium plan priced per seat. Olia is priced per location with no per-user fees, from 79 euros per month.

Per-site pricing exists on both sides

Mitti also offers location-based pricing with unlimited users, but does not publish the per-site price. Olia publishes its Starter price.

    Built for a shared tablet

Olia's kiosk lets staff pick their name and enter a PIN on a tablet in the venue, with no app and no personal account.

Hospitality records out of the box

Fridge temperature logs, opening and closing checklists and an Info Hub with training tracking are part of how Olia works from day one.

    Depth outside hospitality

If you also inspect warehouses, sites or vehicles, a broad platform may suit you better than a hospitality tool.

    What Mitti does well

Mitti, formerly SafetyCulture, is a mature platform with a free plan, unlimited templates on its Premium plan and a wide range of inspection and issue reporting tools. If your business spans several industries or you already use it elsewhere, staying on one platform has real value.

Where Olia is the simpler fit

A restaurant team does not need a general inspection toolkit. It needs the same opening and closing routine, fridge temperatures and training records, done the same way every shift by people who share a tablet.

Olia is focused on exactly that, and its price is per location, so it does not move when you hire.

    How to decide

    A quick way to choose:

    1. Choose Mitti if you inspect across several industries, or already rely on it outside the venue.
    2. Choose Olia if your need is daily restaurant operations and compliance records, with a simple tablet routine and a published price.
    3. Check current pricing on each company's own site, because plans change.
